A customer of ours needed a special necklace for her daughters wedding. Given the exciting occasion she wanted something unique and decided on creating a custom piece. We showed her a variety of pearl necklaces we had at the store as well as some colorful gemstones. She decided on a tasteful double stranded pearl necklace. Wanting something bold yet elegant to brighten up these already beautiful pearls, she decided citrine would be best. Below is the process we took to create this stunning citrine-clasp CAD design.

We took the necklace in its original form having two white gold clasps with a simple design.

Wanting the citrine to be the focus of the new clasp we decided to create a design that complimented the gemstone and the pearls. We had a unique and delicate wax design created for the new clasp that blended everything together perfectly.

The new clasp was made in yellow gold to bring out the bright orange hues of the citrine.

The End Result?

The luminous pearls mixed with the bright citrine and elegant yellow gold made this necklace truly one of a kind.
