One of our specialties is custom design. This specific design was for an engagement ring. We sat down with our customer to discuss the shape of the diamond, the style & type of ring they were interested in. They weren’t sure if they wanted a princess cut or a round. After showing them the different shapes, they chose a round. Once the center diamond was selected, we started on our picture. The image was now created on the CAD (computer-aided design). We then sent various images of the ring with different views in an e-mail to the customer for their approval. Once approved a wax was made of the ring, and was shown to the customer. Next, the ring was casted in 14K white gold. While all this was happening we picked the additional diamonds needed for the halo & shank of the ring.
